Dolly Minhas Mattoo
A Former Miss India 1988-89 went on to represent India in Miss Universe Pageant in Cancun in Mexico. She has been active since last two decades in the field of Films And Television and Advertising.
She has been an actress of repute since last two decades and has a body of work in Numerous Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Punjabi films and umpteen number of television serials to her credit. It was after becoming Miss India that she developed interest in performing arts. And very shortly she became a prominent name as a leading lady.
She had a successful stint as a Heroine in Hindi films i.e. Dastoor, Mr. Bond, Kshatriya, Game, Don Muthu Swami, Good Luck, Pyaar main Twist, and recent Dil Dhadkane do. She continued her journey and had a successful innings in Kannada and Telugu films like Yamma Kinkara, Rayaru Bandaru Mavan Manege. Mr. Mahesh kumar, Kalavida, Musuku, Honeymoon, Mr. Vasu. Rambo Raja Revolver Rani. State Rowdy. Soon she was deep into doing Punjabi films, a language she was at home with, it being her mother tongue.
They were much appreciated by the Punjabi Audience. Mitti Wajaan Maardi, Sat Sri Akal, Tera Mera ki Rishta, Mel karade de rabba, Jatt & Juliet. Once Upon A Time In Amritsar to name a few. A post Graduate from Punjab University, and a resident of Chandigarh, soon after her marriage she stopped doing feature films in south, instead concentrated in doing Television serials.
And by now she is a popular name in the television Industry as well. Her serials were very much in demand. To Name a few, Aisa desh hai mera, Grihasti, Baa bahu aur baby, Hukum Mere Akka, Behenein, Chintu Chinki Aur badi si luv story, Kitty Party, Hindustani, Byaah Hamari Bahu ka, Hukum Mere Akka, Is Pyaar ko kya naam doon, Qubool hai, Kota Toppers, Adhuri Kahani Humari, Punar Vivah, CHOTI SAARDARNI and now Shaadi Mubarak.
In addition to all this she has been a leading Model and has done number of Advertising films. Vimal Sarees, Parachute hair oil, S Kumar’s, Vinayaka suiting shirting, Uber Cabs, Amazon.com, Manayawar, and recently Rakesh Masale and Duroflex Mattresses.. An actress of repute and vast experience will be the guiding force behind this Institute. She will not only share her knowledge but also act as a mentor.
